Shantha Bloemen,
Co-Director / Co-Producer
Shantha is a documentary producer. Her recent documentary,
T-Shirt Travels, has been
broadcast on PBS television in the United States. For
the last decade, she has worked
as communications consultant for UNICEF in Africa and
South Asia. She has produced
TV segments for Africa Journal, and worked as a commercial
producer in New York city.
JoMarie Fecci, Co-Director
/ Co Producer / Cinematographer
JoMarie is a documentary photojournalist specializing
in areas of conflict. Most recently,
she has focused on the Middle East. During the last
decade she has covered conflicts
in the former Yugoslavia, West Africa and Latin America
and the Caucuses, for
magazines and news agencies. She has also done extensive
work covering the U.S.
military and the special operations forces of many other
nations.
Sandrine Isambert, Editor
Sandrine is a film and video editor focused on human
rights issues. She edited over
15 documentaries for Witness, a human rights organization
that provides video cameras
to human rights activists, including "The Price
of Youth" about the trafficking of women
from Nepal to India, "Forgotten People" about
human rights abuses in mental facilities,
and "Refugees: The Last Resort." Her film
"Behind the Labels: Garment Workers on U.S.
Saipan" was awarded the 2001 Sydney Hillman Prize
for Best Television and Radio.
"Operation Fine Girl: Rape Used As A Weapon of
War in Sierra Leone" was part of the
2002 Human Rights Watch Film Festival. Sandrine has
also worked on independent
feature and commercial productions in New York and Paris.
